Overview
With just 20 cabins and a crew that has remained almost unchanged for years, the Isabela II offers a perfect blend of intimacy and tradition. When you travel the Galapagos on this 183-foot yacht, you’ll find a warm, personalized service that’s been perfected over a generation, plus an attention to detail that’s second to none.
The Isabela II offers a range of on-shore excursions, with small groups for a more individualized experience. Snorkeling, kayaking, wildlife spotting, glass-bottomed boating: you’ll enjoy all this and more when you travel with the ship’s team of expert naturalists. And when you come back after a long expedition, you’ll relax in the open-air hot tub, before savoring a delicious al fresco meal under the stars.
Cabins
The Isabela II offers four sizes of rooms on its cabin deck, Classic Twin and Double Cabins (139 sq. ft.), Standard Cabins (128 sq. ft.), and the luxurious Owner’s Cabin (170 sq. ft.). All feature air conditioning, comfortable bedding, individual safety-deposit boxes, and fully equipped private baths with hair dryers. For guests traveling with children, Classic Family Cabins are also available.
Common Areas
The common areas are one of the places the Isabela II really shines. With its comfortable lounge and open-air dining room, you’ll enjoy fine food and drink throughout your voyage, while the ship’s hot tub and fitness room allow you to stay healthy and toned for your excursions. You’ll also hear exciting multimedia presentations on the Galapagos’ plants and animals in the reading room, and the extensive library lets you investigate further the marvels you’ll see on shore. Finally, when your cruise is almost over, you can shop for souvenirs in the Isabela’s boutique.
