Overview
Built for sailing the Galapagos while preserving the islands’ delicate beauty, the EcoGalaxy offers the latest in sustainable technology and comfort. Measuring 102 feet in length and with space for just 16 passengers, this first-class catamaran takes you on an exclusive, personal odyssey that leaves a minimal ecological footprint.
The EcoGalaxy follows several itineraries through the Galapagos, allowing you to hike, snorkel, and kayak your way through Darwin’s great laboratory. The eight-person crew is trained to prioritize passenger safety and individual needs, while the ship’s full range of amenities will trick you into believing you’re enjoying the comforts of a much larger vessel.
Cabins
The EcoGalaxy offers twin, triple, and matrimonial cabins, each with your choice of one king or two twin beds. Panoramic windows, private bathrooms, and individually controlled air-conditioning are standard, as are closets and safe-deposit boxes. The cabins are distributed between the main and upper decks, with the latter affording superior views. The décor emphasizes ecological themes.
Common Areas
The EcoGalaxy is designed to facilitate socializing, with spacious common areas and a range of on-board activities. The dining room features local and international cuisine, with several buffet options, at long communal tables, while the separate bar and lounge allow you to share Galapagos stories with fellow travelers. There are also a coffee station and multimedia library, an al fresco lounge with outdoor sofas, a sunroof, and a topside sundeck with full bar service.
