Aboard the Aqua Nera, award-winning architects from Noor Design have tailored every space for comfort. The vessel’s plate-glass windows allow the Amazon’s lushness to enter into the cabins, while the social areas evoke the refined elegance of 19th-century steamships. Tastefully woven into the design are accents from the rubber-boom era and Spanish and Peruvian folk traditions. And topping it all off is the cuisine by Pedro Miguel Schiaffino, one of Peru’s finest chefs, who crafts culinary artworks from native Amazonian produce.

Suites

Passengers on the Aqua Nera can choose from 20 designer suites, on either the main or upper deck. With an average size of 320 square feet, these cabins offer apartment-style living, complete with king-size beds, individual bathrooms, climate control, rain showers, and floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows to take in the jungle landscape. Sofas and large closets are also standard.

Common Areas

The Aqua Nera’s comfort extends to a host of lavish common areas, where passengers can mingle as they learn about the Amazon’s biosphere from the on-board naturalists. Public spaces here include a saloon, gym, indoor bar, game room, boutique, pool deck, and lounges, as well as a screening room to watch instructional videos on the Amazonian ecosystem.
