Tents

Sarova Mara Game Camp has upped the ante on safari accommodations with top-tier, yet sustainable amenities. Each of the 20 Club Tents, 52 Deluxe Tents, and 3 spacious, two-bedroom Family Tents is designed with ensuite facilities and blends beautifully into the natural surroundings. Wooden furnishings, colorful textiles, and textured rugs celebrate local culture and artisanal craftsmanship. Every spacious canvas tent has wooden decking that includes a comfortable day bed, chairs, and tables for relaxing and enjoying the sights and sounds of nature. Earthy tones and the colors of Kenya intermingle with modern touches like a mini bar (stocked upon request) 100V and 200V outlets, hot and cold running water, showers, hairdryers, and more.

Mara Club Tents also feature a private dining area with glass panel doors and a large viewing deck. Guests in this category have exclusive access to the Olchani Club Lounge, a tranquil space with personalized service and 360-degree views of the fishing lake and beyond.

Family Tented Suites are available for those traveling with children under 16 years old. Each offers two double rooms with space for a third bed upon request. Amenities

As befits a full-service, luxury safari camp, Sarova Mara has designed an activity menu that allows guests to immerse themselves on the camp’s ground and the surrounding Kenyan landscapes. Within camp, guests may swim in the free-form pool, complete with its own bar, or relax and unwind in the Tulia Wellness spa. Outside camp, there’s sport fishing, nature walks with a Maasai Moran to learn about herbs, medicine, and folklore, community volunteer work, game drives in Land Rovers stocked with binoculars, books, and a cooler, hot-air balloon safaris, walking safaris, visits to the Isokon Maasai Cultural Village to observe local craft workers, mini golf, and more.

Dining is a treat, with inspired menus and quality produce from the camp’s organic garden. All meals are served at the Isokon Restaurant overlooking the main pool and forest. Guests have the option to select handpicked fresh produce from the gardens and have the chefs prepare a garden-to-table lunch or take a cooking class alongside the chef.

Experiential dining includes champagne breakfasts in the bush, sundowners around a roaring fire, a boma dining experience in a traditional Maasai Manyatta (homestead) with cultural performances, and private dinners on the deck or in the garden. Later, guests may congregate in the Oloip Bar, with its rustic fireplace centerpiece and open-air terrace for cocktails and entertainment.
