Overview
The Alaskan Dream represents an innovative take on small-ship cruising. At 104 feet in length, this streamlined, shallow-draft catamaran threads its way effortlessly through the narrow channels and passages of Alaska’s coast, while simultaneously offering stunning visibility from every corner of the ship.
The Alaskan Dream is built on four levels, for a commanding view of the landscape. The towering observation deck permits thrilling vistas of the coastal glaciers and fjords, but no less arresting is the Vista View lounge, whose angled, forward-facing skylights dazzle with a captain’s-eye view of the inlets, ports, and wildlife sliding by.
Cabins
The Alaskan Dream offers a choice of 19 different staterooms. Each cabin boasts a large picture window, individual climate control, a wardrobe, and a private bathroom with shower. Options range from double rooms to deluxe suites, with different combinations of twin and queen beds available. Luxury travelers will appreciate the Vista View Suites, which duplicate the optics of the Vista View lounge, while the sumptuously appointed Owner’s Suite offers an expanded living area with 50 percent more floor space.
Common Areas
The ship’s common areas immerse you in the Alaskan landscape. Viewing areas at the bow and stern, a covered patio on the bridge deck, a spacious observation area atop the superstructure: all this combines to reveal the majesty of Alaska’s glacial peaks and icy fjords. Add to that the cozy lounge and dining room, and you have a perfect floating base from which to explore America’s Last Frontier.
