Anakonda

Anakonda, Ecuador Amazon Cruise Ship

Overview

The anaconda has long been a sacred symbol to the Amazon’s peoples, due to its unique status as the world’s biggest snake. As the only ship offering luxury cruises in the Ecuadorian rainforest, the Anakonda shares this uniqueness, offering passengers an unequaled experience in the land the indigenous locals call el oriente.

The Anakonda is built to make this experience all-inclusive. From its 18 luxury suites to its commodious common areas, from its al fresco dining area to its travel concierge trained to personalize each passenger’s Amazon adventure, this three-level ship offers everything you’ll need to make your cruise unforgettable. The ship has a maximum capacity of 40 passengers—just the right number for those desiring privacy, as well as those looking to make new friends on their voyage out into the wild heart of the jungle.

Suites

In the Anakonda, the Suites are truly a home away from home. Each one features one or two king-sized beds, a panoramic picture window, a modern bathroom with full shower, and limited internet access via satellite. Four Deluxe Suites have private balconies. Here you can relax in air-conditioned comfort as you gaze out at the wildlife and the locals along the river’s edge.

Common Areas

The Anakonda’s public areas equal the luxury of its suites, starting with the food. Here you can opt for comfortable indoor dining in a traditional restaurant, or, if the evening breeze is right, dine al fresco in a romantic setting under the stars. Either way, you’ll be at one with the rainforest around you, as you savor your choice of Ecuadorian or international delicacies.

There are other common areas for those wanting to mingle. The reading room and bar-salon are great places to learn about the exotic plants and animals of Ecuador’s rainforest, while the solarium and observation deck, with their magnificent vistas, allow you to take in the full wonder of the monkeys, toucans, capybaras, and pink dolphins you’ll see around you.

When you need to rest, you can get a massage or raindrop therapy in the Anakonda’s spa, or browse the handicrafts by local artisans for sale in the ship’s boutique. At the day’s end, a dip in the outdoor Jacuzzi will replenish your energies and rejuvenate your soul.
